Did You Know…?

As well as visiting the Practice or calling us, you can access many services online. You can update your details, order a repeat prescription or book, change or cancel an appointment.

Registering for online services is simple, just visit any Practice location with some photo ID.

You can also consult with your GP online 7 days a week, 24 hours per day using our eConsult option.

Book or Manage an Appointment

You can manage your appointments at The Weardale Practice online via Systmonline – simply login below.

Alternately you can call the Practice on 01388 528 555 between 8am and 6pm or visit us in person in any of our three Practice locations.

Do you need to see a Doctor?

Before you book an appointment, please remember that not all patients will need to see a doctor.

For a range of minor illnesses, ailments and non-urgent issues, our highly trained Emergency Care Practitioners (ECPs) will be able to help you. They can prescribe medicine, make treatment plans or refer you to other services.

To direct you to the treatment or service you need as efficiently as possible, we use a system called Triage (you can read more about it in our Triage guide).

A Care Practitioner will call you to discuss your needs and make a clinical decision on the best course of action for you. For more information about the different health and social care services that are available, take a look at our guide to Care Navigation.

Things to remember:

Our phone lines are often very busy between 08:00 and 10:00, so for routine appointments you may be best calling after 10:00.

If you are unable to attend or no longer need your scheduled appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make it available to someone else.

To register for our online services you will need to fill out an application and bring it to any Practice location along with photo ID to register.
