Out of Hours

If you require treatment outside of our standard opening hours, please call 111. If necessary you will be directed to the most appropriate service for your particular health care need and to a local hub that ensures that you see the most appropriate healthcare professional.

Please note you must call 111 to receive an appointment first, this is not a walk in service. A health care professional will arrange an appointment for you, if required, at the nearest possible location for you.

Please remember to call 111 for advice first. You will need an appointment to be seen out of hours.

Self Care Options

For self care advice you can use our online consultation service, eConsult. You can use this option to seek advice in your own time, from anywhere. It’s easy to use, with quick replies. No unnecessary phone calls or appointments, just the right advice when you need it.

If you have children under 5, the NHS Child App also gives easy to understand guidance on childhood illness, recognising when your child is unwell, and advice on when and where to seek further treatment.

Just search for ‘NHS child health’ on Google Play or Apple’s App Store. A guide is also available to download here.

Please only call 999 for life-threatening emergencies.
