Vaccination Clinics

We have clinics available to book into on Tuesday 23rd, Friday 26th and Saturday 27th February.

The patients who are eligible to attend are………

Over 70 years of age (Cohort 1-4)

Shielding patients (Clinically extremely vulnerable) (Cohort 4)

Those age 16 – 64 with an underlying health condition that may make them more susceptible to more serious illness if they catch Covid. (Cohort 6)

Cohort 5 – those aged 65 -69 will be offered appointments at the mass vaccination centers, however if you have someone in your household in one of the other eligible cohorts and you wish to come together then we are happy to accommodate this and offer you a vaccine. We won’t currently be contacting this cohort individually. If you are in this cohort and choose to be vaccinated more locally then please contact the practice and we can book you in.

Cohort 6 – The practices do not create these cohorts and simply follow the instruction given by Public Health England. If you believe you should be in this cohort and aren’t then please contact your consultant who may be able to advise the practices that you should be in a different cohort. The conditions that make you vulnerable to flu are not always the same as that which will make you vulnerable to Covid. For example someone with well controlled asthma does not fall into Cohort 6. The administrative staff in the practices cannot make a decision around this.

Texts are being sent out in batches, so that we don’t inundate the lines with incoming calls. Please be patient you will not be missed. We have deliveries most weeks but we need to work with Crook and Willington practices to achieve the the cohorts at a similar time.

Please remember that this is a very busy time for our practices, we know that the phones are busy, we appreciate that our wait times on the phones are similar to most energy suppliers or phone companies, please be kind to the receptionists and the practice teams.
