Every month we look at the key statistics from the Practice, you may well have seen the posters in our waiting rooms.
We also regularly track how many appointments are not attended by the patients that book them. In April, 134 appointment went to waste – using up more than 22 hours of clinical time, and costing the NHS over £4,000.
Not only are missed appointments inconvenient for the Practice, it also makes it harder for people who need appointments to get one.
If you no longer need a scheduled appointment, please contact the surgery on 01388 528 555 as soon as possible so we can offer it to someone else.
You can sign up to our text message reminder services, which allows you to cancel the appointment. Or if you are registered to use our online services, you can amend and cancel appointments through there.
Elsewhere in our stats, 76% of of there 59 questionnaires we received this month would recommend us. This is down on our 2018 average of over 90% recommendation from more than 1,200 responses.
All visitors to the Practice have the chance to complete a Friends and Family questionnaire. This is something used all across the NHS and it asks people to say if they would recommend the Practice to those closest to them.
Friends and. Family forms are available in all Practice locations. Patient feedback is very important to us, and we read all comments and suggestions we receive.
