A689 Road Closure and Access to the Stanhope Health Centre – Friday 20 June and Monday 23 June

The current roadworks in Stanhope will affect access to the Stanhope Health Centre on Friday 20 June and Monday 23 June. The practice will remain open as normal on both days but patients travelling from Frosterly and Wolsingham need to be mindful of the road closure and the travelling time to the practice.

Durham County Council have confirm that there will be no access from the A689/Front Street to Dales Street between 9am and 3pm on both days.

Patients are being advised at the time of booking and reminders will be sent closer to the time.

We considered relocating to Wolsingham and St John’s Chapel but this is not a feasible.

We have advised the District Nurse team and Paramedics.
