Durham County Carers Support have the NHS Melissa Bus coming to Morrisons, Barnard Castle on Monday 9th June between 10am-2pm.

This Carers Week, Durham County Council are excited to be teaming up with Wellbeing for Life on board the NHS Melissa Bus who will be offering free mini health checks to Carers. The Melissa Bus is a mobile health and wellbeing hub, bringing services right into the heart of our communities. It’s a fantastic opportunity for Carers to access support in a relaxed, welcoming environment, no appointments needed.

Carers can meet some of the team, access information, advice, and a listening ear. Whether they are looking for help with benefits and grants, want to learn more about our free counselling service, or just need a chat with someone.
