If you need to see someone outside our usual surgery opening hours please see information below:
For non-emergencies outside of surgery opening hours please call 111 and 999 for emergencies.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
Please note - from the 1st April 2017 the Primary Care Service Hubs are moving. They will be based in Stanhope, Barnard Castle and Bishop Auckland.
You will need to book an appointment by calling NHS 111 where you will be directed to your nearest service you will no longer be able to just turn up.
For more information please refer to the 'What to do if you are unwell' letter and leaflet that was posted out to all residents in the County Durham area or ask at reception.
