2018 Flu Campaign

Drop in clinics for flu vaccinations will be held each Monday at Stanhope Health Centre between 5.00 and 6.00 pm.  No need to book, if you are entitled to an NHS flu vaccination just call in.

You can also call in (no appointment needed) at one of our dedicated flu clincs at :-

Wolsingham- 9 and 16 October 9.00 to 11.00 am

St John's Chapel surgery - 9, 16, 23 & 30 October 4.00 - 5.00 pm

Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms  
  • Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes
  • Vaccination certificates
  • General Letters at request of patient

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales, please see our fees page or ask a member of our reception staff, who will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

Here at Stanhope Surgery we have a registrar who comes to the surgery, for more deatils please ask at reception or alternatively you can call the Registery Office at Bishop Auckland on 03000 266 000 and book an appointment here at Stanhope.
